Deleting EDI Trading Partners

1. When you first enter the EDI Trading Partners option a Select An Option window will display with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the EDI Trading Partners option and return to the Ledger menu.
• YOUR COMPANY – Select YOUR COMPANY to enter or edit the information needed to identify your company with your EDI Trading Partners.
• ADD PARTNER – Select ADD PARTNER to manually add your trading partner information.
• PRINT LIST – Select PRINT LIST to print a current list of EDI Trading Partners.
• A list of currently defined EDI Trading Partners.

Scroll to the EDI Trading Partner that needs to be deleted and press Enter to confirm.

Note: You cannot delete your information record. Change its status to I (I=inactive) instead.

2. Command options will appear; select Delete.

Note: If you have used the trading partner in transactions and the system finds associated records in the system pertaining to that partner, you will not be allowed to delete that partner until the records are retained out of the system. Set the trading partner's status to I (I=inactive) instead.
